November: Meet the Sponsors!

www.knittedbliss.com

Hi Everyone! Come check out this month’s super-talented sponsors:

Name: Sweet Sheep Body Shoppe

What She is All About: Alicia hand crafts deliciously scented lotion bars and lip balms with all natural ingredients, and it’s very suitable for those with sensitive skin. I love that it’s all paraben-free!

A Few of my Favourite Things, from left to right: Chipotle Caramel lotion bar- I mean, that sounds so good you can practically smell it through your screen. The Passionfruit and Rose lip balm is indulgent , and Alicia also offers a fall sample set (very good for travel sizes, gifts, or if you just can’t decide) Sweet Sheep is throwing in a FREE full-sized lotion bar for every order over $10 in November.

Name: Never Not Knitting

What She is All About: Alana designs beautiful knitting patterns that often have a very natural vibe- especially in her books/collections, such as Coastal Knits, Botanical Knits, and Botanical Knits 2. Also, you’ve probably noticed that she sometimes uses a very familiar looking model… as evidenced in the sidebar!

A Few of my Favourite Things, from left to right: The Shawl Collared Cowl is perfect for this time of year, and is a wonderfully quick knit. Autumn Vines Beret is a gorgeously cabled hat that is flattering for almost everyone, and the Playful Stripes Cardigan is available both in a kid’s sizes and adult sizes. And in the sidebar, I’m wearing Plum Tree Slouch.

Name: Tanis Fiber Arts

What She is All About: Tanis has an extraordinary selection of stunning hand dyed yarns, kits, and patterns. If you’ve been reading Knitted Bliss for a while, you know that Tanis and I go way back!

A Few of my Favourite Things, from left to right: The Lady Sunnyside cardigan has two different cable options in the same pattern, Aurora is true to it’s name, full of colours from the night’s sky. And since it’s getting pretty chilly, you might want to think about mittens- those are the Snowfling mitten kits, which are available in 4 different colour combos, and also include a skein for knitting the inner layer in a contrasting colour!

Name: Andrea Sanchez

What She is All About: Andrea focuses on timeless garment designs for women and babies and kids (seriously, the size range for her baby/kid sweaters is awesome!)

A Few of my Favourite Things, from left to right: Beech Street Vest which is so perfect for layering, and the Firefly July Pullover which is the very definition of trans-seasonal (and my personal fave). For the little ones, the hooded Lighthouse Keeper cardigan is adorable, and I love the toggle closures and the pockets (size range from 6 months to 12 years).

Name: Fuzzy Mitten

What She is All About: Barbara focuses on patterns for adorable knitted toy animals, as well as clothing for them. I personally have knitted 3 of her animals in the past- Tiger, Squirrel, and Pug.

A Few of my Favourite Things, from left to right: Spacebot pattern, which includes the spacebot, jetpack, and robokitty; Siamese kitty with dress (there are great clothing bundles also available for purchase, if you know a little one who likes to dress their toys), And Backyard Bandits, a steal of a pattern that includes the badger, raccoon, and fox options (and a little roast chicken for them to eat!).

Name: Zenitude

What She is All About: Lise focuses on scrumptious hand dyed yarns, roving, and rolags. And she has her own alpacas, which I visited here.

A Few of my Favourite Things, from left to right: a beautiful thrummed mitten kit in soft pastels, peachy pink hand dyed roving that is perfect for all sorts of handspinning or thrumming, and this self striping superwash sock yarn I am actually using right now, and love it!
