OZCF Market
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I visited the Oranjezicht City Farm and OZCF Market this past Saturday. I arrived just after 9am so I could enjoy a latte and tasty bite to eat while it was still peaceful and quiet. The market focuses on local, fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruit as well as other primary food items such as honey, olive oil, eggs and breads. You’ll also find a selection of seedlings and edible plants and of course some delicious snacks.
The OZCF Market makes for a great outing for the family especially if you have young kids. Take your shopping baskets and stock up on some home grown produce for the week ahead whilst enjoying the friendly atmosphere, relaxed music and being outdoors.
The market is held every Saturday from 9am – 2pm at Homestead Park which is adjacent to the Farm in Upper Orange Street, Oranjezicht.
