Cupcake Richard treats

I recently got to try some tasty sweet treats from Cupcake Richard, a local Cape Town business that bakes without dairy, wheat, gluten, eggs and butter. So yes, their cupcakes are all vegan friendly and still delicious! Both cupcake flavours that I tried (lemon and chocolate) had incredible flavour and the icing was was just heavenly. I could happily eat a bowl of the icing alone!

Their signature Love & Spoon Me cupcakes are packaged with cute spoons which adds a sweet touch. Hop over to their website to find out more about how to order.

I also received a beautiful postcard along with my cupcakes which forms part of The Tiger Postcard Project.

The business was named after the owner’s favourite fictional character, Richard Parker from The Life of Pi. A slight obsession with these large stripy cats has also seen the launch of The Tiger Postcard Project. Each limited edition set of five postcards boasts incredible tiger artwork by South African artists; Kirsten Beets, Maria Lebedeva, Wonder Meyer, Elsabe Milandri and Andrew Sutherland. Each set retails for R200 (excluding shipping) and 100% of the profit is donated towards the Save The Tigers Now campaign.
