Gift Guide for the Hostess

At this time of the year, the focus is on get togethers, entertaining and parties and there’s no such thing as arriving empty handed! So show your appreciation for your hostess with a thoughtful gift. I love giving homemade gifts and beautiful flowers. I’ve rounded up a few pretty goodies to give you some ideas…

Fresh flowers are always a lovely touch. If you have the time, get creative and try something a little different…

- prepare a pretty bouquet and present it in a wooden box which can be re-used
- buy a simple herb pot plant and wrap it beautifully with hessian, twine & a gift tag
- pick a small bunch of fresh herbs from your garden, wrap and add a pretty gift tag
- a single stem or flower presented in a beautiful vase. The vase is the actual gift here

I’ve created a ‘gift box’ that I keep filled with small potential gifts, so that if I’m ever stuck for time, I can grab something from my gift box and make sure I don’t arrive empty handed! Do you have any favourite go-to gifts?
