Desert Rose Dress pattern release!

Today is the BIG DAY! I know I’ve been working on this for a loooong time, and you have all been so patient waiting for this pattern release. I’m so happy to report that the Desert Rose dress is finally available for purchase! You can hop over to my shop and buy it HERE.

I have a whole week of Desert Rose fun planned with tester photos, some newer versions, and a post about what it was like creating my first full digital sewing pattern. But for today, I’m just going to give you the stats on this dress and let you start sewing one yourself!

The Desert Rose Dress & Tunic features an empire waist, scooped neckline, and button closure in the front. The full skirt is perfect for twirling, includes optional in-seam pockets, and hits at the knee. It’s perfect for Spring and Summer wear, and can be worn in the Fall and Winter over a long-sleeve t-shirt.

Skill level: Advanced beginner/Intermediate (buttonholes are required but I give helpful instructions, so even a beginner can totally do this!)

Sewing time: 3-4 hours

Sizes included: 3m, 6m, 12m, 18m, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

To see more Desert Rose dresses in action, check social media for the hashtag #desertrosedress. There are a lot of beautiful versions on Instagram, especially! Share your version with the rest of us by using the hashtag, and you can believe I will be there commenting with lots of love. You can also join the CailaMade sewing group on Facebook to share your creations and be inspired by others who love to sew.

I hope you enjoy my first sewing pattern! If you like the pattern, would you please leave a review on the product page so others can benefit from your experience? Thank you so much for visiting CailaMade today, friends. Happy Desert Rose sewing!

P.S. For those of you interested in selling dresses made for this pattern: I’m working on a seller’s license now. It should be available in the shop tonight!

If you like this dress (and my blog in general), please share with your friends and family by posting to Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thank you so much!
