WHAT’S DOING VOL. 20
Happy Halloween weekend! Hope you had an amazing time filled with candy hangovers and homemade costumes. I had a small panic attack Friday morning because I was still undecided about what to do for a costume. As I looked in my stash trying to figure out what I could last-minute McGyver, I had a “Bob Dylan” brainwave. I’m one of those crazy Dylan lovers who has read every bio and obsessed over every record (except a few weird ones from the late 70’s and early 80’s). I ended up taking a day off work to drive around town trying to find the right curly wig and harmonica holder. It was a pretty simple costume to assemble and was I think the fourth time I’ve gone in drag (see also: John Waters, Prince, Karl Lagerfeld). I think being a man once a year is a nice reprieve from the high-femme thing I do the other 364 days, even if it did give the bf a case of the weirds whenever he looked at me.
