What’s in season in July?

Summer is here (apparently!) and we’re over run with delicious, fresh summer food. But what is in season in July right here in the U.K.?

My favourite season produce has to be peas, is there anything more satisfying that popping those bad boys straight from the pod into your mouth? I’m not a huge fan of cooked peas but peas fresh from my grandparent’s garden, shelled and eaten within seconds has to be one of my favourite memories growing up.
