Louise Wilkinson @ Tent London 2014

Another one of my highlights from the trade show Tent London, was catching up with Louise of 'Louise Wilkinson'.

Her stylish stand was full of her charming, enchanting, story-telling illustrated fine bone china plates, cups and saucers, jugs, teapots and trays from her 'Maple' collection, inspired by her childhood growing up in the Yorkshire Countryside.

"The beautiful, decorative and playful illustrations are influenced by English wooded gardens, oriental china and Louise’s love of trees and animals. Birds, owls and rabbits hide amongst trees and berries in a make-believe world. The ‘Trees’ design is at the heart of the collection."

She also had a new range of printed artworks that have a Scandinavian folkloric feel in an Asia-inspired Blue Willow and white colour palette.

Beautiful colourful flora and fauna printed fabrics and cushions...

I also love how Louise manufactures as much in the UK wherever possible to support the industry.
