Cox & Cox Christmas 2014

I am so please to tell you that I have finally closed down toriejayne.blogspot, it has been months of blood, sweat and tears to get all the content off of it and bring it here to my new home but finally we have done it! Now I just need to check it all and hit publish so you can see it here!

But in the meantime I wanted to share with you some lovely new treasures Cox & Cox have brought out for Christmas. As a regular reader of Torie Jayne you will know that every year I show you my favourite Christmas collections form my top shops and brands and Cox & Cox always features on here. Well this year is no exception...

The Christmas range is as always beautifully styled and shot and I especially like the photographs that have a lovely winter sun feel to them picking up all the natural hues of blues mauves and icy whites.

Now everyone knows I love a bit (a lot) of bird decor so I just had to start with the new beautiful bead encrusted, glitter dusted bird clips with handy metal clips hidden under their breasts so they can perch on almost anything.

Next up is the the new woodland inspired lightweight MDF, fronted silver birch wood, Noel letters that have small discreet hooks on the reverse so they can be displayed standing on a mantelpiece or hanging over a table.

Followed by the 'not just for Christmas' light gesso stars that are carved from mango wood with a beautiful soft light gesso paint and the white house tea light holders that are painted copper inside to give a lovely soft glow.

I also had to include some old favourites like the oh so cute miniature ceramic deer spoons that have little arms for hanging and are the perfect festive companion for any hot drink. The kitsch and cute miniature fawn that looks adorable sat upon a mantelpiece, windowsill or under a glass cloche as seen many times here both in the Cox & Cox catalogue and in photos from my most inspirational photographers.

Last but not least the set of mini bottle brush snow dusted Christmas trees, great for displaying in jars, as part of a winter scene or as Cake decorations...
