Glitter Guide Part 1

I’m so excited to be featured alongside one of my closest girlfriends, Alex, in a two-part Glitter Guide feature today. With the weather heating up and summer on its way, we thought it’d be a great opportunity to not only show our readers how to style two all-season tones (green and red) into two great, tonal outfits while keeping within our distinct styles, but also to collaborate with our favourite local photographer, Christie Graham.

Alex looked stunning (as always) in her beautiful and eye-catching tropical print dress from Zara, and delicate black heels from Sole Society. As for me, I paired my mint-green sweater from Acne with my mint-green tulle skirt from Space 46. Personally, I think that mint looks best when accompanied by pieces that don’t compete with it; therefore, I opted for nude pumps from Brian Atwood and kept my accessories simple with just my diamond rings.

Initially, I was reluctant pairing my Acne sweater and Space 46 tulle skirt together, as I was worried it’d be too bold. Thankfully, Alex convinced me otherwise and reminded me to always be true to myself and not worry what other people think. I love being bold and I’m not going to apologize for it.
