Spring-y Makeup of the Day

The snow does not seem to want to melt in my part of the world, but that hasn’t stopped me from wearing more Spring-like makeup. Here’s one of my go-to looks lately: black eyeliner paired with glossy lips.

Here’s what I used:

Annabelle Le Big Show*: This has become one of my favourite mascaras. It makes my lashes look thicker and longer, especially when I remember to curl my lashes, which I clearly didn’t do on this day. This mascara doesn’t clump, or flake and applies just beautifully. Loves it.

Almay Eyeshadow Softies in Creme Brulee*: I haven’t had much experience with Almay, but I have to say I’m highly impressed with the quality of this shadow. It is smooth and pigmented and blends beautifully. This colour is a golden cream shade that I used as a base for this look. (Excuse the stray eyebrow hairs please — long overdue for an eyebrow wax )

L’Oreal Color Riche Le Kajal*: Ever since I got this to test out, I have used it daily. It is the perfect, most perfect black eyeliner. It is smooth to apply and pigmentation is awesome. Once on your lid it doesn’t budge. In this look, I applied it a bit thicker than I normally wear over Almay in Creme Brulee.

MAC Autoerotique Blush*: This is gorgeous, and I’m so happy to have it in my arsenal. I love the peachy golden glow it gives.

Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie: An oldie but a goodie, this is one of my favourite lip butters. While some lip butters are a bit gritty, this one is smooth and has a beautiful shine.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Punjab: Sheer Glow and I are having a renewed love affair. It’s become my go-to foundation lately – it gives medium coverage whilst still allowing the skin to look very natural.
