Fantasia Pattern + Aurifloss

I’m interrupting this week’s Purse Palooza posts to tell you about a couple of new products that I have in my pattern shop. I have a new embroidery pattern out, which coordinates with my Fantasia fabric line for Art Gallery Fabrics. Fantasia Embroidery contains magical motifs, including 6 different unicorns, 9 mushrooms, flowers, birch trees, and more!; 28 motifs in all!

The PDF pattern includes 2 pages of basic embroidery stitch instructions, followed by 5 pages of black line-work, which can be printed and transferred to your fabric using your preferred method.

The paper pattern includes a 22” x 17” sheet of black line-work. One side is suitable for tracing and the reverse side is an iron-on transfer. Designs range from 1” to 9” tall, and basic stitches are illustrated.

I am VERY excited that the embroidery pattern also has a companion Fantasia Aurifloss box!

This box contains 10 wooden spools of 6-strand Aurifloss. Each spool contains 18 yards of thread. The box contains the following colors of Aurifloss:

  • 2425 (pink)
  • 2530 (pink)
  • 2225 (orange)
  • 2115 (yellow)
  • 1231 (green)
  • 2865 (green)
  • 5005 (blue)
  • 6738 (blue)
  • 2510 (purple)
  • 1243 (purple)

Every purchase of the Fantasia Aurifloss box from my shop will receive a FREE paper Fantasia Embroidery Pattern (a $9 value), complete with iron-on transfers! Your free embroidery pattern will automatically be added in with your order, no coupon code necessary.

As usual with any of my patterns, I had some testers make some beautiful projects with the Fantasia Embroidery Pattern. Many of them made more than one project, to show the many possibilities that this pattern has! Thank you so much to everyone who tested this pattern, I appreciate you so much!

The first five photos are from Maya. Maya made many projects with this pattern! They are all gorgeous, but my favorites that she’s made are certainly the mushrooms! I love the care and thought that went into each of these finished projects!

Angela made this beautiful embroidered sign for her daughter. I designed this fabric line (and the pattern) with children in mind, as I’ve loved horses since I was young, and the unicorn is the embodiment of youthful-horseloving. I love the beautiful Heather Ross fabric used for the border too!

Ellen stitched this unicorn in pink and purple threads as chosen by her daughter. She said that this motif will likely turn into a library bag for her daughter. She produced this in stem stitch, which I love and gives great outline to the unicorn!

Charlotte stitched up this beautiful galloping unicorn. I love that he has flaming hair, and the gray used makes the design stand out from the neutral fabric perfectly!

Ellyn made this beautiful mini quilt with one of the flower designs from the pattern. This was probably one of the most intricate designs, and Ellyn took the time to fill the design in with thread just beautifully! I love how bright and happy this is.

Lucy at Charm About You (instagram) made this for her daughter, for a quilt label (to go on a quilt made with bee friends). I love the pink and purple unicorn with the golden horn, so pretty! And it warms my heart to see projects made for children!

Cyndi of The Nosy Pepper made my free Arabesque Bag pattern in a unicorn and mushroom combo. I love the jewel tones of the threads that she used, it really makes this unicorn stand out!

Mary made this beautiful hooped mushroom, using a variety of stitches to fill in the mushroom and the grass surrounding it. I particularly love this color combination!

Stacy Vaughn made a set of fabric baseball caps, and she embroidered them with Fantasia motifs! Eep! So clever and so cool, I just love them!

If you liked what you saw, the Fantasia Embroidery Pattern is available as pdf and paper, or you can get the Fantasia Aurifloss bundle which includes the paper pattern!
