Paradise on Earth – Phuket, Thailand

A month ago, I was on a holiday in Phuket, Thailand. I spent most of my days on Phi Phi Island where I probably drank too much fresh coconut juice and spent too much money on Thai massages by the beach.

It was a short getaway with my boyfriend but honestly, judging from how I was flirting with my oversized 1970’s style wide-brimmed hat, I could very well have been on a vacation with it instead. My wardrobe for this holiday was (mostly) 1970’s inspired, and when I say 1970’s, I mean 1970’s bohemian style. Think: prairie blouse, broderie anglaise, paisley tunic, denim, wooden accessories, oversized sunnies, clogs.. and of course, oversized wide-brimmed straw hat.

Wearing: Oversized 70’s style hat (ASOS), prairie blouse (thrifted), denim hot pants (Cotton On), brown satchel (Valleygirl), wooden clogs (thrifted)

Wearing: Paisley tunic; Holding: Snorkelling equipments, yay!

Wearing: Oversized sunnies with frame detail (ASOS), wooden necklace (Mum’s drawer), broderie anglaise blouse

Wearing: Wooden bracelet (thrifted)

And when I say “mostly”, I meant that there was a day when I went back to my first love – 1950s rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly. And considering that it’s a beach holiday, there’s definitely bathing suits involved. So here I am, happily basking in the sun in my Rockabilly-inspired duo. It’s not the best photo. I’m just going to blame it on the bumpy boat ride.
