What's on my face

Top - Bottom: Chanel Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadow in Ebloui, Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara, Korres lip butter in Wild Rose, Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Exposed.

Now there is a certain chill in the air I've been gravitating towards richer pigments and focusing more on eye make up (is it just me who gets panda eyes in the summer?). These are just a few items that have been on my face recently.

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadow in Ebloui:

I've had this for a while but shied away from wearing it until recently. It's a reddish brown eyeshadow with shimmer that's quite unique. I used to worry about looking ill or like I've been crying, but I think it has just enough brown to be flattering. The colour is so rich it's perfect for the cooler weather.

My previous tube of this ran out a few months ago and I was stuck using a Dior one. However, I simply had to repurchase Clinique's High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. I'm not blessed in the eyelash department but this volumises like no other and makes me look like I have perfect fluttery lashes.

Korres lip butter in Wild Rose:

In the cooler weather I find I need to moisturise my lips more often and this is perfect. It has a lovely rose scent and adds a berry sheen to my lips; perfect for this time of year.

Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Exposed: review here

I'm not a huge bright blush fan so this and NARS Douceur are my favourite all year round. When it comes to autumn I'm especially inclined to reach for the neutral sculpting blushers as I associate coral with summer and need all the help I can get in the cheekbone department. Exposed is beautiful and so easy to use as it's quite subtle, so it's easy to apply in a rush before work.
