Hõla from Spain! | A Vacation Face

Hello everybody! I hope you are all well and having a great time wherever you are! I am doing pretty well and this is a shout out from Spain, Seville to be exact! I didn’t get much time to write posts this past week, but I decided to do this quick post to show you all whatever little makeup I have been wearing while on holiday.

A little back story first. Just minutes before leaving for the airport I decided to NOT take my well-packed makeup bag, except for any three things from it! Crazy I know, but that happened and I just picked my Dior BB creme, a YSL glossy stain in no. 12 and Tarte’s Exposed Blush to get along. I already had Chanel Creme blush in Destiny in my handbag along with an eye pencil, so in all I could just manage to get the bare essentials with me. No eye shadows, no primers, no lipsticks, no fancy-pancy stuff!

Let me tell you, I am so glad I did this! I have been going practically makeup free in the day time, and just wearing a tiny bit for the evening. The photos in this post were taken at 8 in the evening and can you believe its THAT sunny! It starts to get dark only by 9 30 pm here, so even when I have to get ready for the evening, I need to wear sunblock! I am wearing the YSL glossy stain in the picture above, along with the other makeup items below.

My earrings are from Granada and can you tell I am in love? These are handmade and beautiful! There is lots to share with you about the trip but all that in future posts! Thats Exposed on top of Destiny on my cheeks in the picture. You can get a better idea of the makeup below. BTW I also didn’t get my beloved mascara, hence the bare-eye look!

As you can tell from this picture, I have gotten MORE than a couple of shades darker thanks to the Spanish sun but no-one’s complaining ;-). I am doubtful if any of my other face bases will match me, either ways, I am happy with or without any! pretty much washed, clean, air dried hair everyday here and and lots of walking and gelato and in the sun! Its heavenly! :-)

I’d like to mention the tiny sample of the Kiehl’s Micro Blur Skin Perfector which I brought along, and have been very pleased with! It keeps my skin from getting sweaty or oily in the hottest of days and makes the skin look, well, perfected! I think a full sized purchase might be in order!
