Pai Skincare Review – Part C | Echium and Argan Gentle Eye Cream

The world is divided into those who believe in eye creams and those who do not. Yeah its that serious! I have been swinging much like the good’ol pendulum between both sides for a long time. I usually let a promising product work its charm on me before I decide a permanent spot on either side of the line! If there is enough build up already let me tell you the facts about this one!

Pai Echium and Argan Gentle eye cream £28:

What is it : A very hydrating eye cream with Echium rich in Omega 3 and 6 which improves the appearance of fine lines, soothes sensitive skin and is a great anti inflammatory for eyes suffering with dryness, soreness or irritation. The HERO of this series! An absolute winner in my books, this eye cream has been a game changer! The first thing that stands out about this is that its housed in a solid opaque tube with a pump (Oh Thank God!) so there is no finger dipping, unhygienic messing around with the product happening! The pump is very efficient and allows you to control how much product you may want for each use. 200 for Pai Packaging!

Thoughts : While using my previous eye cream from Clarins, after about two weeks I started noticing very tiny bumps exactly around the inner corner till under my eyes. There were quite a lot of them and that really alarmed me because obviously the eye cream was what was causing it! I decided it was time to shun it and that was when I got hold of this one from Pai.

I have been using it religiously every morning and night for a month now and I actually look forward to using it every. single. time. I have tried a few popular ones before, the Clinique All About Eyes, Kiehl’s Avocado eye cream and also one from Clarins which was disastrous! Nothing has compared to the Pai one by far! I feel soothed, hydrated, supple and all kinds of wonderful and that has never been the case with any eye care product before. Its very easy to blend soft rich very similar to the Clinique All about eyes in texture, but SO much more hydrating and moisturizing without being greasy like the Kiehl’s avocado one. Needless to say the tiny bumps are all gone and the eye area has completely healed in all of the time I have been using this.

How I use it : Pat pat pat! I no longer rub around ANYTHING! Since using it my eye area has been visibly brighter and more youthful and I have not needed any concealer! Can you imagine?

I cannot remember the last time a beauty product made me this happy! Probably the Aesop Parsley Seed Masque?

Rating : A

Are you convinced yet? I firmly believe eye creams are not a necessity or an essential part of any skin care regimen and the results are very slow to come by, but if you have been a regular eye cream wearer and really need something keep those peepers in top condition I cannot recommend a good eye cream especially this one, enough!

This brings us to the end of the 3 part series on Pai Skincare. If you haven’t read, here are Part A and Part B.

Let me know your thoughts :-)
