Natural, Luminous and Pretty Much Perfect!

When I am not scowling at foundations and cursing concealers under my breathe, I am usually found working my way through my (foundation-highlighter-powder) stash and trying to find the ONE! Now, I have said this before that there is no such thing as the “perfect” product (be it anything) but I have to admit I may have proved myself wrong this time!

This combination you see here folks is what my idea of “perfect skin” looks like! I am really sorry for not inserting a picture of me wearing this but the fact that I am working on a full blown makeup look might cheer you up. Rest assured you’ll see this featured!

Coming back to the products, for my current skin situation (well behaved and clear ATM *touch wood*) if there is a need to hide a bit of redness and infuse some glow this “Power” combo has been my jam. The MAC Face and Body foundation, known for its luminous, buildable, sheer finish goes on top of, (strategically applied to the high points) Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone, followed by the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder in No. 2 to set everything in place.

All three products have in common a skin like finish and luminosity. The Shimmering Skin Perfector is the perfect no-shimmer shimmer (there IS such a thing!) that can go both on top and under foundation. Face and Body foundation when applied with fingers is sheer and glowy and I usually build it upto two layers in the center for more coverage. Les Beiges powder does not cover but sets the T zone and adds a natural yet non-shiny finish to the face. Result – a believably perfected, luminous skin that is so picture and party ready! No flashbacks, no heavy foundation feel, breathable and comfortable. Everything that this girl wants!

People with dry skin should take note. You will love this combination!
