Luck O' the Irish

“The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure.” - Joseph Campbell

Guys, vacation is awesome. I know you’re saying “thanks captain obvious” but let me explain. My ideal vacay typically consists of beach, sun and a margarita margaritas. That’s why I was a little surprised when the family decided on a two week cruise through Ireland, Scotland and England (with a stop in Paris). An adventure — that’s what this trip has been, and I’m so thrilled that I’ve embraced every moment, every historical ruin, rainy afternoon, castle, mythical story, and green countryside. We’re only half way through the trip and I’m already so inspired. I don’t know about you, but I tend to get caught up in my day to day; it’s hard to imagine life outside your everyday bubble until you actual get out and see the rest of the world.
I wore this for dinner last week after spending the day at Blarney Castle (Yes, I kissed the Blarney stone).

Green: it’s EVERYWHERE in Ireland and beyond beautiful. The rolling hills inspired me to bring out this dress I borrowed from The Stylist LA. Before I left, I picked up this Zara jacket to pair with all my silky dresses; just love the feminine and masculine contrast. Surprisingly this is the first (real) leather jacket I’ve ever owned. Gasp! I’m a “gold” girl and it’s not very easy to find gold details on leather jackets, so when I saw this one I had to scoop it up.

Btw, I’ve also been inspired by the book I’m currently reading: You are a Badass. Definitely suggest it for anyone looking for a little guidance or even more clarity on their already existing path! Have a great week.
