A blue bronze inspired gift wrap for a friend's engagement celebrations!

A little while ago, Lulu and I headed down to Bristol to celebrate Bobbi and Ryan's engagement. Lulu handed me the task of gift wrapping our gift and of course I got stuck right in - washi-tape a-blazin'. When wrapping gifts I tend to wrap everything in brown paper because a) it's super cost effective, which means you get to splurge on other 'necessary' gift wrap items and b) it provides a really good neutral base for adding on other gift wrap bits bobs. Also, if you tend to wrap everything in brown paper - you will always have brown paper hanging around somewhere.

Because plain white envelopes on brown paper tend to be quite stark, I painted over a white envelope with some gold and bronze paints.
I then added a good lashing of washi tape (obviously).

I finished it off with a hand-stamped tag with the couple's names and a bright turquoise ribbon

et voila!
