Lost In The Crowd

Beauty products are so easily lost in the crowd, and after my big beauty clear out recently I've just left myself with products that I will actually use regularly. I am very stuck in my ways though with my comfort zone products and makeup, skincare, and beauty staples, but there are a few lost favourites I've rediscovered recently that deserve some more attention in my regular routine.

Urban Decay Naked Palette I need to give this cult eyeshadow palette more love as it used to be my everyday go to for eye makeup. The formula of all the shadows is spot on, and my favourite shades have to be Buck, Smog, and Toasted.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream I'm terrible when it comes to nail and cuticle maintenance, and I'm keeping this cuticle cream from Burt's Bees on my bedside table from now on to remind me to show more attention to those nails of mine.

MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle I used to love wearing highlighter on a daily basis, but it's started to gather dust in my Muji drawers these past few months after being sidetracked by my love of blush. I want to start embracing a very subtle highlighter again and this is the perfect one for the job.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation A very old favourite that hasn't received much love these past few months after discovering a few new loves, I want to bring it back into my weekly rotation again before it goes to waste.

Revlon Matte Balm in Complex I have so much love for the Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry that I talk about all the time that this caramel nude hasn't seen as much love as it deserves. Perfect alongside a darker eye, I'm excited to start wearing this one more often.

Elemental Herbology Facial Detox An old favourite, this is another product that needs using before it goes to waste so it's my go-to face mask at the moment for when things start to get a little too spotty.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Doll Face I'm such a fool for nude blush at the moment (Tarte Exposed and Nars Douceur are my favourites) that all of the others in my collection have been somewhat ignored. This baby pink blush from Tarte is a little out of my comfort zone, yet it's actually super pretty on the cheeks when worn lightly so I'm making an effort lately to wear it more often.

Valentino Valentina EDP* I'm a serious fool for all things scent, and my collection is a little ridiculous and it's the one beauty thing I tend to still hoard these days. This white floral scent from Valentino is just perfect, and has notes of vanilla, amber, bergamot, jasmine and wild strawberries.

Korres Fig Body Butter* After my big beauty clear out recently I found this hiding in the depths of my drawers and I couldn't believe I'd forgotten about it for so long. A super hydrating body butter with a perfect fresh fig scent, it's now on my dresser for daily use for leaving my limbs super soft and nourished.

Have any products in your collection got a little lost in the crowd lately?
