Man Shirt (Fashion Me Now)

I’ve always championed menswear as womenswear (remember this) and summer is the best time to borrow from the boys. I’m never without a couple of oversized button downs on holiday – perfect for throwing over bikinis or tucking into denim shorts come sundown, and a million times nicer than that fringed/beaded/dip-dyed kaftan the high street would have us believe you needed come summer (you don’t fyi).

I’m kind of cheating on this one though. This is actually Topshop bought a few sizes too big to get that masculine fit I love. The kind of thing to throw on after the beach and wear right through till dinner with not one iota of effort, which is what real carefree summers are all about. Wear it oversized, sleeves rolled up and unbuttoned one too many for a flash of black bra or bikini.

You might also notice a new addition round my neck. I designed this Evil Eye charm with the super talented sisters behind West London wonder emporium Jessie Western and I’m so in love with the results. It’s made from tiny diamonds and yellow sapphires and is probably the nicest thing I now own, made even more special after spending an afternoon with Jessie and talking travel, jewels, spirit animals and Native American mythology.
