Celebrations

I am very big on celebrating anniversaries and Thanksgiving week is always a very nice time to celebrate milestones, beliefs and enjoy family tradition.

A newer tradition that I take part in every year, being a semi-newlywed, is celebrating Thanksgiving with my in-laws. It always involves taking a day trip to the parents house where I typically pack a tote bag with a few key items: A pair of flats, cozy socks, a warm scarf and a small bag of make-up. Since we are away from home for the entire day I make sure I have everything I’ll need in case a last minute game of football, fireplace storytelling or an evening filled with Apples to Apples should arise.

With the arrival of Thanksgiving week came the arrival of my new tote bag from Longchamp {talk about perfect timing!}.

Last month, Longchamp invited me to their new San Francisco store to create my very own personalized Le Pliage Tote. To help celebrate 20 years of the Le Pliage tote, Longchamp is offering a very special personalization process to their customers. I chose to design mine with tan interior and the letter “D” for Damsel so that the light tan interior peaks through the perforated holes. It was really fun getting to take a shot at designing my own handbag. From picking out the tabs, straps, flaps and leather {and more} you can really customize the bag any way you want to.

Give it a try here!
