Just BE.

I made this today... because I felt like it needed saying. It's OK to be imperfect. It's OK to live in this moment right now. It's OK to just breathe. It's OK if all you did was get through today. It's OK that not everyone agrees with you. It's OK to be just exactly who you are. It's OK.

Just BE.
Be your BEST.
I always tell my boys to do their BEST. If that means getting an F in school, so be it. As long as they gave it their best. If their best is still an F, then that's OK.
Be ENOUGH.
Don't worry about being everything to everyone. Be enough for yourself. Be enough for your loved ones. Stretching yourself too thin only means no one gets ENOUGH.
Stay TRUE.
It's OK to do the things YOU love, even if that means no one else loves it. It's OK to say no, if saying yes means you're compromising something you don't want to compromise. There isn't any glory in trying to be anything and everything to everyone, but staying TRUE to yourself, and those you love is invaluable.
Be YOU.
There are a million sites telling you what to wear, what to do, what to say on line to gain fans... it's garbage. All of it. Just be yourself. There will people who will love you for it, and people who won't. So be it. If you lose yourself to get the love of others, you just lose.
There is value in this moment.
When I am out milking goats, in the silence of my own mind... the sounds of the chickens going nutso because some other chicken is in "her" nest... and the goat chewing her grain, and the milk spraying into the jar... there is value in that. There is LIFE in that. There is a relationship there. In the moments when I'm sitting and waiting for my boys to be done with practice, and I see them fostering friendships, and working as a team, win or lose... there is value there.
Don't lose sight of the moments that make up the total sum of life. Exactly where you are. Not somewhere in the future. Not "when I become ______ or lose X amount". NOW.
RIGHT.
NOW.
Be.
