"OMG You're Sooo Skinny"

"OMG You're Sooo Skinny"... A sentence I have heard so many times along with 'Do you even eat?', 'Have you got an eating disorder', 'Get some meat on you'. Well guess what, saying these things to someone is NOT OKAY. It wouldn't be okay for me to tell someone 'OMG you're Sooo Fat' so why should telling someone they're too skinny be acceptable?
I am naturally petite. I am 5ft 4 and a size 6-8. I eat 3 meals a day, as well as snacks and I have never been on a diet. I am not bragging in any form but, (naughty me) I don't exercise and I do eat too much rubbish I will admit. Looking at me you wouldn't think it, I just don't put on weight easily.
After being told I look unhealthy far too many times (by the way, that is not constructive criticism, it is just mean) I have been to a dietician, I have been to the doctors, I have tried everything to gain a few pounds. But guess what? I DO NOT CARE ANYMORE. At one point I was so self conscious about the way I looked and what size I was because society made people think it was okay to skinny shame.
But now, whether it is my age or through life experience I have learnt that everyone is different. It is okay if you're a size 6. It is okay if you're a size 16. It is okay if you have a thigh gap. It is okay if your bum jiggles. It is okay if you can't easily put on weight. It is okay if you can't easily loose weight. IT IS OKAY TO BE YOU.
I cannot stress enough at how horrible it is to be called 'skinny' and 'nearly anorexic' I mean seriously, you can clearly tell the difference between somebody who is naturally slim and somebody who has an eating disorder. Saying these things to people affects them. I know I eat well, I know I don't have an eating disorder and if I am happy with the way I look then why should somebody else be able to tell me otherwise?

It's about time society stops body shaming all together, everyone is different.
