Life lately in this LBDD (long button down dress)

Is it Friday already?? Is it just me or did this week magically fly by? Where did it go so damn fast? Did I tell you guys I started a small photography business with one of my childhood friends? We’ve been busy getting all the information together, logo, website, flyers, packages, etc. and already had a few clients! I have learned a lot about photography over the years no my own just from having this blog and testing out different lenses and cameras (seeing what works and what doesn’t), and of course, I have learned so so much from working with other photographers. It’s cool that my little ol’ fashion blog has opened so many doors for me and helped me meet some pretty cool people who are interested in the same things as me. If it wasn’t for all I have learned of photography while blogging then this photography business would not be happening. Granted I still have a lot to learn, but I think I have come a long long way from when I started. In the end, I feel this business should of started a long time ago! Anyway, that is why I have been a bit MIA on the blog lately!

John and I actually took these photos sometime last week and I hadn’t had a chance to share them! I am wearing a OBEY supposedly “midi” dress which is actually more like a maxi for me. It has pockets on the hips and buttons that button down the whole front of the dress . I like that you can also wear this as a duster opened up extra boho style or as a shirt with a long tail layered over a short skirt or tight leggings for a more modern edgy approach. The bag, dress and necklaces are all from a local SD boutique that is right by my house called Mimi & Red. Super cute affordable stuff there guys (if you are in the SD). Speaking of affordable… did you know the Spell and the Gypsy Collective is having a sale this Sunday?! Monday if you are actually from Australia, but monday SUNDAY for us west coasters! Can’t wait to get my hands on some of those maxi dresses and lacey goodness ( I mean, who doesn’t like lace?)
