Roadtrip Nation

I love driving off to remote places and seeing what there is along the way. Lately we have been exploring and heading out to the road at any moment we get. Even if they aren’t a long ways away there are always fun little things to see and adventures always happen. Last weekend we drove to a music festival somewhere between Borrego Springs and Palomar Mountain. Before we got there we saw these abandoned old cars just sitting in the middle of nowhere. I came to a screeching stop the moment I saw it. The funny thing was my two friends didn’t even have to ask me what I was doing. We all just got down and walked towards them haha. John snapped a few photos to document our roadtrip. The sun was harsh for photos but that’s ok, somehow John made it work out and I love how it has a very Almost Famous type feel to it. I got this amazing skirt on sale from Spell and I don’t take it off. It has the perfect jagged hemline and a bit of rock n roll glam to it. I love how its raw, yet refined at the same time. I’m a sucker for that. I wore it with burgundy thrifted boots and a black tank knotted up on the side. I’m about to leave to Palm Springs for the day so gotta run but I will be back this week with more Road Trip photos!! Xo Francesca
