Weekend wear: distressed denim

I completely forgot I never got to post these photos from a few months back (hence the longer hair). Ay niña… (shaking head). I really like this look also! It’s so simple, yet the tiny details (like the distressed denim paired with the structured top) are what make it interesting. As always, the tiny details.. so simple yet effective! I actually wore something similar to this today which is what reminded me of these neglected photos. Same top but with high-waisted denim jeans and a really big shaggy coat (yay for finally having colder weather!). I feel like distressed denim is the perfect weekend wear. You can easily make it whatever you want it to be (dressy or casual) and you still feel off duty and comfortable.

So… I’m heading to Hawaii tomorrow with John and I can’t wait!! Yes!! The warm clear tropical waters and Mai Tais with tiny imaginary fairy umbrellas are calling my name! I feel a bit out of wack because it JUST NOT started to get cold her so It’s weird heading back to the heat but hell.. it’s Hawaii and I’m always ready for that.
