Fabulous Room Friday 09.12.14

This week’s “Fabulous Room” is a chic dining room in a Parisian pied-à-terre designed by Stephane Olivier as showcased in Nuevo Estilo. Upon seeing this image, I was immediately drawn in by the fabulous mix of furniture– a modern table and chairs in a light finish by Maxalto meets an antique lacquered Chinese chest and an Angelo Brotto lamp. The space feels effortless and quintessentially Parisian in its chic simplicity.

How do you feel about lighter wood stains? It seems that they are having a major resurgence. I’m super thrilled that one of my favorite magazines is coming to photograph my home tomorrow and Sunday, but I have to run in order to finish getting ready!
