Styling: Prada Marfa (pt. 1)

A few snaps of our road trip to Marfa, part 1. Some of the best photoshoots often happen last-minute and with some elbow grease. We really just packed for one bohemian shoot (more on that shoot in part 2 of Marfa), but decided that the infamous Prada Marfa location necessitated a totally different shoot of its own. What to do? Thrift stores to the rescue! The entire two outfits for the "bride" and "groom" cost a total of $27 (from the bow tie, to tux/dress, to hat, to both pairs of shoes) at a thrift store. I modified the dress (see before versus after) using safety pins and one snip of the scissors. It was definitely a Project Runway sort of moment for me to see Meghan don my "creation"! I also cannot believe how good Cameron looked in what appears to be a little boy's full-length tux...a bit Gwen Stefani, no? Be sure to follow me on Instagram for more behind-the-scenes of my photoshoots!
A lot happened on this trip (more on that later) and I think I left a little part of my heart back in Alpine/Marfa, Texas... Instagram || Facebook|| Twitter
