Blogger Valentine Exchange!

I had such a blast doing a valentine exchange with some of my favorite blogging mamas! It was so fun getting mail all week. I would sit down with Harper and open each valentine and let her check them out…and then she tried to eat them. You can check out my DIY valentine tutorials here and here.
Below are the Valentines we received (and also one I made for Harper with her name on it). The ladies who participated in the exchange are: Natasha at Schue Love - - Foam Sticker Valentines Julie at The Girl in the Red Shoes - - Rawr Means I Love You Natalie at Nat Your Average Girl - - Hand's Down Emily at Dear Owen - - You Make My Heart Melt Erin at Hello Erin - - You are Dino-Mite Colleen at Meet the Sullivans Vanessa at Sunflower State of Mind Megan at Hello Newlywed Life - - Beads are a Girls Best Friend Natasha at Hello Happiness Sara at Running from the Law
Check out their blogs for their own DIY valentine tutorials and also for more on motherhood, food/cooking, DIY, lifestyle and more...
One of the valentines was this adorable banner! I added it to our chalkboard.
As part of this exchange, we also sent one mom a small gift in the mail. My secret valentine was the lovely Megan from Hello Newlywed Life…and she went totally above and beyond (and was generous beyond belief) and sent me this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff leather pouch with an "H" on it and a beautiful pair of Betsey Johnson shorts. She knows me very well because I would have totally picked these out on my own if I saw them while shopping! Thank you so much Megan for sending such lovely gifts---I felt very pampered. We also loved Sofia's valentine!
Speaking of valentines, below is the one Harper's teachers made for us at her daycare using her own feet to make a little heart shape. I love love love her new school and her teachers. It's so fun that they do crafts with the babies and she is really loving it there and thriving. I was a little bit worried that the switch would be tough for her but she is so happy. Her class is so much bigger and she has so much more room to move around and explore.
My favorite valentine...
My husband surprised me with these pretty roses when I got home from work on Friday...
I hope you ladies had a wonderful Valentine's day! Here's to another week of happiness :)
