Knotten Delft

Looking back at a lovely weekend, filled with family and yarn. On Friday I visited the beautiful Wollstreet shop in Sittard with my aunt, they were super busy unpacking the new Winter yarns, so exciting!

On Sunday I had a lovely coffee, lunch and chat with Annemarie, she’s such a sweet lady. We had a great time at Kek in Delft. Two doors down is the lovely yarn shop Knotten, who celebrated their 3rd birthday. Lots of people, new projects and yarns, I had a great time visiting and meeting new people.

Afterwards I drove by my husband’s grandma of 85, who was just about to start a new knitting project. I helped her casting on the stitches, got my own crochet project out of the bag and we sat there, knitting and crocheting and chatting about life, the weather and how she’s promoting my book in the elderly home where she lives. So cute and touching. The perfect ending to a perfect day and weekend.
