Shake the Bommel

Alright my loves, after I shared almost all of the outfits I wore for the recent fashions shows here in Zurich and the latest outfit posted two days ago isn’t one of the typical every-day-outfits too, I thought I might should feed you with an autumn combo that you can actually copy for your every day life – be it a monday in the office or a grandparents visit at the weekend. Well, maybe you just leave the heels away and instead go for a comfortable ballerinas or booties.

By the way, todays post is also a premier to me. A first time. Sounds strange? Ok, let me clarify quickly. Maybe you anyway already noticed it – I’m wear for the very, very, VERY first time a beanie. And guess what?! It might be my first time but for sure it won’t be the last. Because somehow I lately discovered my love for this head covering pieces soon after a friend of mine went into raptures over a so called “Bommelizer”, a tool for creating your very own pompom beanie. As a huge fun of such tools – I swear, I could spend hours playing around – I just had to test it out. I decided to chose for a version in grey (how else could it be). Added a faux fur pompom in burgundy colors et voilà my perfect, warming beanie for cold autumn days was born. As I always place value on color harmony in my outfits, I also made use of the option to choose further pompoms in different colors. Thanks to the fact that these pompoms are easily and quickly changeable, I’m able to match my new beanie with as many clothes hanging in my wardrobe as possible. Yay.

So meine Lieben, nachdem ihr jetzt schon fast alle meine Outfits für die vergangenen Fashion Shows hier in Zürich gesehen habt und auch das Outfit von vorgestern nicht unbedingt einem typischen Alltagsoutfit entspricht, gibt’s heute mal wieder eine Herbst-Kombi, die ihr easy auch in eurem Alltag – ob montags im Büro oder am Wochenende für den Besuch bei den Grosseltern – nachstylen könnt. Naja, vielleicht tauscht ihr dazu einfach die Schuhe gegen bequeme Ballerinas oder Booties aus.

Übrigens ist der heutige Post ein Premiere für mich. Ein erstes Mal! Klingt komisch? Dann lasst mich euch ganz schnell aufklären! Vielleicht ist es euch ja sowieso schon aufgefallen – ich tragen zum aller, aller, ALLER ersten Mal eine Mütze. Einen Beanie. Und wisst ihr was?! Es mag zwar das erste Mal sein, aber ganz bestimmt nicht das letzte! Denn irgendwie habe ich diese Kopfbedeckung kürzlich für mich entdeckt, nachdem mir eine Freundin vom “Bommelizer”, einem Tool zur Gestaltung der eigenen Bommelmütze, verschwärmte. Als grosser Fan solcher Tools – ehrlich jetzt, ich könnte Stunden mit solche Spielereien verbringen – musste ich das einfach selber testen. Entschieden habe ich mich, wie könnte es auch anders sein, für eine Version in Grau. Dazu einen flauschigen Kunstfellbommel in Burgundy et voilà, die perfekte, wärmende Mütze für kühle Herbsttage ist geboren. Und weil die Mütze natürlich zu möglichst vielen Kleidungsstücken, die bei mir so im Schrank rumhängen, passen sollte, habe ich zugleich Gebrauch von der Möglichkeit gemacht, mehrere Bommel in unterschiedlichen Farben zu bestellen. Die sind nämlich total einfach und schnell austauschbar. So habe ich für (fast) jedes Outfit den passenden Bommel parat.
