Park fun

I get so restless just sitting in my room studying all day. I want to go outside, explore Wuhan, explore China, just go somewhere! (Which is why I’m planning a trip to Hong Kong soon, more details to come!) I spent half of last week inside with a constant headache and a cold. So this weekend I decided I’ve got to get out more while the weather is still nice and have a proper look at this city that I’ve moved to.

Sunday was my friend’s birthday and we just had the time to celebrate it before he head back to the US. We took him to the lovely Zhongshan Park, which looked even more beautiful covered with red autumn leaves than when I last visited. We walked around for a bit, and rode roller coasters until we felt nauseous. Then we went back to our campus to have dinner with everybody else. Today the birthday boy and two other Americans are heading back home. Their time in China is up. I really can’t believe we have to say goodbye already, I feel like we just got to know each other! Hope fully we will see each other again soon enough.
