SFR4 - Color Challenged !!
Lindsey and I decided on a color challenge this week, and this is the palette we chose.
We both thought it had colors we wouldn't normally pick, and so got to work. I am going to list the Stampin' Up! colors that I used, so you can play along.
- Calypso Coral
- Bashful Blue
- Marina Mist
- Basic Grey
And here is the card that I ended up with ...
I made my own patterned paper on the coral using the Sanded background stamp, and did a lot of sponging and piercing on this card. I did add the faux stitching on the bashful blue layer, and the ribbon and brads were the finishing touches.
I did stamp the sentiment in basic grey on very vanilla, but used my markers to add some of the color in, I think it looks pretty good ! Don't forget to check out Lindsey's card too, and leave her a comment. Feel free to stamp along, and if you upload to Splitcoast, use the keyword SFR4.
