Glue and Color Sticks

This abstract landscape was drawn with Elmer’s glue on black cardstock paper, and later filled in with Crayola Color Sticks. I promise this is not a paid endorsement, I just wanted to share how well these three supplies work together. I don’t find Elmer’s great for most gluing projects, but it is perfect for drawing because it is thin, easy to spread, and dries clear. The cardstock paper works because it is heavy and very black, and the Color Sticks look amazing on this paper. The sticks are not cheap, but they last forever and don’t have any of that super dusty feel of chalk pastels.
