W E E K E N D M U S I N G S :: It is Sunday afternoon as I write this post, at home, reflecting on the past week, coming up empty on content. It was busy, but not a good busy. For those that have been following for some time, blogging is not a full-time adventure for me; although I wish it were as I love it so much. My week is consumed with my day-time job and exhaustion creeps in every night, leaving no time for creativity. It has been my experience that I am most creative when inspired and inspiration comes when I am creative, both of which for me require peace of mind and time. The highlight of my week, which is always the case, was spending time with family. Specifically, Friday night as my husband and I tagged along during our three-year old grand-daughter’s Halloween run. Dressed as spider-girl, long beautiful blond strands of hair fell from under her pink hat, a pink spider-girl eye mask resting upon it, a red spider vest covered her jacket and her outfit was complete with a blue sequins tulle skirt. She enthusiastically greeted neighbours who kindly opened their doors with treats to share with her near-perfect “Happy Halloween” and in true bilingual form thanked everyone with a “Merci”. Léa is her name and she is a beautiful child. Absolutely adore her! Wishing you all a fantastic week ahead, xo
