Weekend Rewind 63 | Roadtrippin’ through the tulips

We headed off yesterday to drive up to Mullumbimby for the Mullum Music Festival, stopping in last night of shearing at the DAG Sheep Station. While we’re away we’ll be attending a Texan-style BBQ, taking part in a flash mob, doing purna yoga together and even a spot of line dancing. All of that, all of this, is way different to anything else we’ve ever done as a family before but early in the year I decided that I wanted us to do a totally random festival this year and I eeny meeny moed and Mullum it was.

I think every family should do something random at least once a year, preferably once a month, a week. If you didn’t catch my list of the different kinds of things families could do in 2014, have a look anyway and make some notes for 2015. You won’t regret it.
