Holo all the things! ♥
Do you remember the time when we had to beg at companies to release holographic nail polishes again? When we sobbed about the long HTF China Glaze OMG collection and that it should be re-released again? Before Color Club and many great indie brands brought us back our holos and before Dance Legend made us swoon again over their New Prism collection full of linear holographic deliciousness? One huge reason why I fell in love with Dance Legend are their breathtaking and strong holos from the New Prism collection and today I am showing you the gorgeous Dance Legend Shock.
Dance Legend Shock is a strong linear holographic pink which in some lighting can strongly lean to a more strawberry tinted pink or even strawberry red. I’ve had lighting like at work where it was a bright more blue toned pink and here in the pictures and in general in my livingroom lighting it is a much warmer pink. The base color of Shock reminds me a lot of the base color of Pupa Holographic Strawberry which I sadly missed getting. The holographic effect in Holographic Strawberry is much weaker and more scattered but the base seems close.
Dance Legend Shock: so hard to photograph but oh so pretty! ♥ Isn’t the linear holographic (or prismatic) effect insanely gorgeous?
The holo of Shock is so strong that I hardly can stop staring at my nails. Today is day three I am wearing Shock and I still have to swoon when I look at my nails.
Can’t. Stop. Staring!
In indirect lightingEven in the indirect lighting of my lightbox in this last picture you can see the linear holographic effect of Dance Legend Shock. ♥ The wear time of Shock so far is perfect. I took this lightbox picture today on day three of wear.
POST FAQThe application of Dance Legend Shock from the New Prism collection was a bliss. I love the Dance Legend brush! It is perfect for my rather narrow nailbeds. Not so small like the China Glaze brush and not as gigantic as the OPI brush. Right in between which makes my nails happy.
Have you tried any of the Dance Legend holos from the New Prism collection and if yes which are your favorites?
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
