Starting fresh

Well…… hello first post.

My name is Trish, and I am the woman behind the curtain at this here food blog. I was the magic behind JellyBones for about 2 years, but now I have graduated to fancy WordPress, like a freakin pro, yo.

Know what I love about Rhubarbarians? It’s new. Blank. Clean. Fresh. Just beginning. I can totally start over. I’m not trying to change what it is, just creating. JellyBones had a lot of fun things, like cooking and swearing and a lot of personal shite. It also had a lot of posts I had no interest in, posts I was creating just to get content on the page. You’ll find none of that here my friends. Just the cool cooking, dry humor, and maybe some photos of my feet (bloggers,you know what I’m talking bout) or my fancy dinner. Oh, and cocktails. So many cocktails on the horizon!

The main reason for the new bloggie is this: I am a different girl than I was 2 years ago. I live in a new city, have new goals for my life, have a freakin husband (score)! I’d like this place to reflect that. The “lady” i have become. (heh.)

So here I am. A cook. A whiskey lover. A dreamer. A wine-o. A tea drinker. A dog lover. A wife. An extrovert with a dash of social anxiety. A Jeopardy watcher. A dress wearer (because I’m a lady, duh). A crass and slightly deaf old woman inside of a 32 year old body.
