Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate Review

Hand Chemistry is a new brand to me and I am always looking for a) products containing Hyaluronic acid, after using the indeed labs product on my face with great results and no breakouts or sensitivities, it is definitely one ingredient that I have found that really works to moisturise and, in turn, make my skin look youthful and dewy versus old and weirdly textured. Approaching 30 I am starting to see slight changes in my skin, it used to be so so smooth and now if I put my foundation on sometimes it just looks a bit different, not as smooth and more dry/dehydrated. I have tried to combat this by drinking so much water I am starting to wonder if I should buy an at-desk portaloo, but this only makes so much difference. The skin on my hands, shins and neck has been starting to get slightly less smooth and way more dry as well, and so once finding out there were the new Hand Chemistry products available including my favorite ingredient, I decided to give them all a go and see if they really do work.
Also, quite vain of me, but I am attending someone else's wedding soon and, as I despite all forms of photo of myself, I am trying to look as passable as possible, just in case I have to end up in any, as everyone seems to be wielding cameras these days at events like weddings, and I don't want to see any pictures of me, especially on Facebook, with me looking like a hag!
Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate

The Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic Concentrate is fairly expensive if you just use it as a hand gel, but it is a huge 240ml pump bottle and I have been using it on the backs of my hands, my shins, my neck and even my face (which is very sensitive) with great results of just two weeks of use. The results are so obvious even after only two weeks of twice daily use that I wanted to blog about it so soon.

I make the assumption with this product, as with most products containing hyaluronic acid, that you need to apply it to slightly damp skin and then apply your moisturiser over the top to seal it in, think of it as a serum if you will although it is in a gel form, sandwich it between either cleansing your face or neck or having a shower, then applying it, and then applying your moisturiser or hand cream over the top.
I believe this is because the hyaluronic acid draws moisture to it, so you need to apply the moisturiser over the top so the hyaluronic acid draws the moisture from the moisturiser into your skin rather than drawing the moisture out of your skin and evaporating it, which would make your skin dry! Not what we want. As long as you use this product in the correct manner, I am sure you will get as great a result as I have seen.
My hands look more uniform in colour, I have zero dry bits, my cuticles are moisturised and generally my hands look smoother and younger. I wouldn't say they looked old but the skin didn't look as good as it does now.
I have also been using this on my neck and decolletage as the skin is thin and can be damaged by the sun easier than a lot of other places on the body, the skin there is looking much plumper and smoother as well. My shins are looking less dry and flaky, I wouldn't say they are looking amazing yet but I think they were so dry they are going to need a bit more TLC.
You only need to apply a tiny amount as it will be very tacky on your skin if you have applied too much, a pea sized amount is enough for 1 neck or 2 hands, about the same for each shin, a bit more if you're doing your whole leg.
I wish this product had been created years ago, even my eczema flare up spots are really hydrated and I haven't had any flare ups, this seems so gentle and it is also unscented.
Overall this is the product from the range that I think is an absolute must buy if you can't afford any of the others as well as it is such good value, a little goes a long way and, I don't say this lightly but this product is totally AMAZING.
Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex
Heel Chemistry Heel Hydration Complex is literally the most amazing hand cream I have ever used. In fact I don't think I have ever used a hand cream that is anything more than 'ok' before, some of them did the job, some of them were too thin in consistency and some, like the Neutrogena one, were great but far too thick and took forever to sink in.
This cream has the perfect consistency, sinks in quickly and has amazing and fairly speedy results. It is very concentrated so you only need a little and you apply twice a day, morning and evening. Or I apply it twice during the work day after I have washed my hands, as I would forget being half asleep in the morning or evening!
This makes crepey hands smoother, makes skin tone more even and has even started to help heal the discolouration I have from a scar (made by the ever evil cat Benny) on my wrist. This works even better when used over the top of the Hyaluronic acid concentrate but it does a great job on it's own as well.
I love that it is compatible with my eczema, it has made it better and caused no problems at all and the scent is so light it is barely there, so most people should be fine with it.
It mentions the active ingredients on the tube and you can read more about it here which mentions something about it containing Biological GHK, I had no idea what that was so I found out more from this article so it really does seem that the ingredients have science backing it up. I thought I would include that as I saw people saying on line in reviews that it doesn't explain what the ingredients are.
Hand Heel Chemistry
This is an amazing product from the range as well, I have to admit that I am not normally the type of person to spend so much on a foot cream but it really does work. I believe it to be very similar to the Hand Chemistry product but formulated as a thicker and more heavy duty version for feet.
I find that the results are pretty much as with the hand cream, my skin is much more moisturised, heels are no longer sad looking and look nice and pink rather than the bizarre purpley tone they had before (not sure what that was about). My skin on my feet, just as with my hands, looks more 'plumped up' and much smoother, so this definitely does the job.
I do think though, this is probably a product I wouldn't be so inclined to repurchase, just because with my budget and wanting to repurchase the hand cream and the hyaluronic concentrate, I would probably just use both of them on my feet to save a few pounds. Obviously if your feet are the only issues that you have, then this would be a must-have. You have to pick your battles sometimes!
