Vote For Me!

Remember that I mentioned the exciting news I had to share? I've only made it to the short-list for Vintage Personality of the Year in this year's National Vintage Awards!

A Vote for me would ensure that the much-maligned 1970s would finally get the respect it deserves.

If I win I'll continue in my quest to prove that the era was the greatest decade in vintage fashion.

I'll continue to challenge prejudices and make sure that even the most fervent non-believers give catsuits, psychedelia and maxi dresses a try.

I shall spend the year, as I have done for my entire adult life, living and breathing vintage and promoting it to anyone and everyone willing to listen.

Having a title won't change me, of course. I'll still go to work in feather boas....

Go down to Lidl in lurex...

Do festivals in head to toe vintage,

and ramble in full-on psychedelia.

A fancy title wouldn't change my life but I promise I'll party for all of us at the awards ceremony and wear something suitably 1970s-tastic
