Tortoise Glasses c/o Firmoo I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect glasses and it's been a constant struggle over the past few years. I don't wear them in public very often as I prefer the ease of contacts, but I relay on them when I'm home so I can give my eyes a bit of a break. To be pretty honest, I don't have a very ideal face for glasses: (1) I lack a proper bridge on my nose so glasses without padding tend to slip off my face, (2) I have big cheeks so, when I smile or laugh, they push my glasses upwards, and (3) I can never figure out whether I have a round or square face so I don't know what shape compliments me best.
I'm a pretty big fan of these glasses mainly due to the little details that you normally wouldn't notice. The ends of the glasses have triangular cut-outs and the subtle tortoise print gives it a nice, unique touch. I'm also a huge fan of the shape and the quality - now I just need to deal with the fact that they slide down my face if I'm not careful. Not a big deal if I don't mind looking like a bit of a dork.
But hey, nothing wrong with looking dorky, right?
