No.17

Even though a lot of more organised folk are at Glastonbury, I thought I'd bring a bit of a festival vibe to good old Soho. I may be slightly averse to camping but I definitely like a relaxed sort of look for any musical adventures. Minkpink is my go to brand for this sort of thing, I first discovered one of their pieces in New York a few years ago and I always find the perfect dress to just throw on every season. Kim even has it too! I think a post is in order to show some of the duplicate items some of my friends also have, it's getting ridiculous now!

Soho is always an interesting place to shoot in, it's a little rough around the edges but there's so many interesting details and history around every corner. There's a few nice buildings opposite Honest Burger and I found a mysterious door bearing my favourite number (it's the day of my birthday in August, pretty standard reason). I'm not usually one to advocate really identical catwalk-inspired pieces, but after seeing the Zara version of the Chanel pearl jewellery on a few people, I knew I had to hunt it down. Luckily it was surprisingly easy and I managed to buy one of the last ones online. I always end up wearing the same bracelets (you've probably noticed) and it's very rare I find one I really like, so I'm glad to finally have a new addition to my collection. It's unlikely that I'd ever be able to afford the original version (or if I did, we probably would have moved onto the next incarnation) so I'll let myself off this time. Phew!
