A Date With Warehouse

Shopping for the new season when it hasn't quite arrived yet is a tricky one. Sure you may like all the fluffy coats and fast-food themed belts now but how will you feel in a few months time? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll be wishing for all things SS15 when the catwalks start, I always seem to want what I can't have. Fortunately I had to chance to dip my toe into the AW14 waters and get excited once more thanks to Warehouse. They arranged for Olivia and I to try on some new bits in their swanky suite in their flagship store on Oxford Street and the camaraderie reminded me of what I love about shopping with friends. Sure we may send links to each other via Facebook but nothing beats some real life banter.

You all know I love a co-ord. So much I'm considering a round-up at the end of the year and potentially hacking into a few of my dresses to split them up. Warehouse has the trend in abundance and I systematically picked this leather set for the coming months, the top will be great to wear with jeans and the skirt is perfect for cosy knits and ankle boots. Wearing a full on leather look probably isn't advisable in 27 degree heat, but these practical thoughts kept me going. We shot these photos in a secret Covent Garden courtyard, before heading for a feast at Dishoom (best curry in Central London) and Thriller live on the West End. A pretty perfect day in my opinion!

It's actually my birthday today! More musings on being 27 in due course but I'm starting off the year with some Secret Cinema frolics!
