Simple Vacation Attire – Como

I love the simplicity of the above outfit–red shorts and a black shirt. It was absolutely hot in Como and spending the week hoping on the water taxis to and from the towns on the lake warranted shorts and a breezy outfit such as this one.

I’m finding that as I get older (and as it becomes more and more imperative that I leave the house without food stain on my clothes, hair…you name it), my style has become more and more simple. Case in point, this simple white dress (a gift from my mom), my West Elm Market tote, and L.A.M.B. sandals from a gazillion years ago.

The dress is linen and totally impractical on vacation as it wrinkles easily. However, I love it as I preshrunk it and simply toss it in the washing machine when it gets stained by my little one’s grubby hands.

More pictures of Italy to come. Xx.
