July 2014 Birchbox | Sun, Sea & Sand Edition

July 2014 Birchbox* (£10 P&P)
Just a quick post today because I got my box a little late & I'm sure you'll have seen lots of similar posts already! After last month's pretty incredible Birchbox* I had a sneaky feeling that this month wouldn't be as good. And it's not but I wouldn't say I was disappointed either. There are a couple of things I can't use at the moment, but that's okay. I know I'll find good homes for them!

Whish Three Wishes Lavender Body Butter
Lavender isn't my favourite scent, but this is a really fresh lavender and not an old fashioned lavender. I'm having a few skin issues at the moment so I'm pretty picky with the products I'm using but I think I'll keep this on my bedside table to use as a hand cream.
Gilchrist & Soames Mineral Bath
This promises to be the perfect product for a light summer evening bath & it sounds lovely. I'm trying to stay away from products with SLS in as much as I can, but I'm sure that I won't have any trouble finding someone who will happily give it a try!
Weleda Millet Nourishing Shampoo
Weleda is slowly becoming one of my favourite brands. I've had a small sample of this shampoo before and I think I quite liked it, so I'm intrigued to try it again to see if I feel the same. This promises to gently cleanse whilst maintaining natural shine & it's suitable for vegans.
LAQA & Co Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in Bees Knees
This brand aims to provide both high quality and convenient lip & nail products. Bees Knees is a beautiful coral shade that's really easy to sheer out or build up. So far I'm loving how comfortable this feels to wear as well as the minty scent.
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream
This is definitely my favourite thing this month. I've tried a few things from Balance Me before and I love their eye cream. Until recently I rarely used a dedicated eye cream, but now I'm getting a little older I've found myself really gravitating towards them. It feels really lightweight but very hydrating too, the perfect combination.

Lifestyle Extra: Ultradex Oral Spray
I've never had one of these minty sprays before, preferring mints or gum, but I'm interested to see how often I find myself reaching for it. I'll keep it in the pouch of things I carry around 'just in case', because you never know when you'll need a plaster or a bobby pin!

What do you think of this month's Birchbox? xoxo
