Love Me Beauty | July 2014 Edition.

July 2014 Love Me Beauty Box* (£10 P&P
It's turning into beauty box week here on sailboat and I think Love Me Beauty* might just be my favourite box of July. As always there are three different 'menus' to choose from & I opted for menu 2. Even though I chose my box I had totally forgotten what was inside when it arrived, so everything was still a surprise - best of both worlds!

Lashem Lash Enhancing Serum | 2ml sample - full size 3.5ml £40
I've never tried a lash enhancing serum before mostly because I'm not convinced they'll do anything and because there's no way I'd remember to use it consistently. I'm not sure what the ingredients are, I'll have to a little bit of research, but at the moment I'm not sure it's something I'll get a lot of use from. We'll see!

Ofra Pressed Eye Shadow in Bliss | £8.80
I'm not much of an eyeshadow wearer but I think I might make an exception for this shade. It's pigmented but blends out really easily to give a sheer wash of colour that looks brightening and lovely. There's also a little mirror inside, which is very sweet!
Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Hollywood | £11.60
This has pretty much the exact same scent as the Collection cream puffs. As soon as I opened it I knew I recognised the scent from somewhere! I don't know if they're the same product, but from what I remember of the Cream Puffs, they seem really similar. Hollywood is an intense pink-red shade, which I wasn't expecting because the picture on the information card looks like more of a mid-tone rose. It's incredibly beautiful though and I'm going to see if it can be sheered out a little so it's not so bright. The formula promises to feel moisturising and last for up to five hours on the lips.

So Susan Dual Brow Powder | £11.95
These shades aren't the right match for my ashy blonde brows, but I like the idea & the little angled brush is very sweet. They seem to have a nice amount of pigmentation & the darkest shade isn't as intense as it looks in the pan, so I think it could work quite nicely for brunettes. I'll be popping this in my box of things to find a new home for.

So Susan Flutter Mascara | £14.95
After opening for the first time I went to put the wand back inside, heard a little pop and ended up with mascara exploding out all over my hands. Not a good first impression but it seems to be okay now. I think I'll make a note to be a little wary when using it though. The wand is pretty small and doesn't look anything special, but I'm looking forward to trying it properly on my lashes - hopefully no mini explosions will happen again!

The Tea Shed 4am Tea 20 Teabags | £3.50
Naturally low in caffeine, The Tea Shed say that even if I drink this at 4am I'll still be able to sleep & it will help me on my way to the land of nod. Sounds good to me! I do love a good cuppa so I'm sure these won't last very long at all! I've been having a little look around their website and they have some really cute tea pots and lots of different teas to choose from. I feel an order coming on...!

Extra Product: Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion | £15.95
I was pleasantly surprised to find an extra product in my box, especially because it's from Weleda! I've had a bottle of this before and I remember loving it, so I'm excited to have another one. My skin is so incredibly dry and itchy at the moment, I don't know if it's an allergy to something, because it's hot, or something else but I'm working through a list of things it could be to try and figure it out. I'm only using a select few things that I know I'm okay with so this will certainly get a lot of love from me over the next few weeks.

What do you think of this month's Love Me Beauty box? xoxo
