i feel just like jesus son

it's about time the weekend came around! i've got a little bit of this and that planned for valentine's day today. but i have to admit my big plans begin tomorrow. i'll be headed to joshua tree for my fourth visit in less than a year. this time around, i'll be there with a crew of friends and will visit salvation mountain for the first time ever. nothing quite gets to me like driving to the desert for some solitude and good times.

this music video by jesus sons was released today, and it's undeniably fitting for the weekend events to come. they'll be playing at brick and mortar in sf on sunday night, and while i won't be able to go, i highly encourage you to check them out. drink lots of whiskey. get a little crazy.
