Traveling and Central New York

Every season, there seems one outfit that I wear over and over that fits the weather and my state of mind perfectly. This is that outfit for fall. I originally picked this for a road trip to upstate New York to visit one of my closest friends and her hilarious hubby. I've been all about navy so far this season and the pair of navy boots and sweater was too much to resist over the course of the weekend. So I wore it again a day later to visit an apple orchard!

Central New York was just as pretty as I imagined it to be. My friends live on one of the finger lakes and the view behind their house are colorful trees on hills and view of the lake. They live a pretty active lifestyle, hiking through state parks (think gorges, waterfalls, awesomeness) and visiting beachside parks to walk the piers. I got a view of the area I might not normally get if left to my own devices and I also got to work out outdoors!
