Fresh Picks of the Week: Green + Gold

Citizen Rosebud Vintage: Fresh Picks for Fine Folks
Oh I've been busy as a leprechaun, posing in front of the camera, and listing some of my best frocks and follies for my shops on eBay and Etsy. Possibly because this week had a certain green loving holiday in it, or possibly because there spring time budding on the trees all around me, but right now, I am all about the green!

MINTY FRESH: Vintage Mohair Plaid Cape by Scotch House
And what goes better with green, than gold (and orange, and yellow, and violet, and well, lots of colors)? This gold brocade hat is a stunner, so much so, I am wanting to keep it for myself. However I'm trying to exercise some discipline, and well, ya know, SELL things, that I've listed it (here) but I'm telling ya, if it's not sold by the end of next month, I may just keep it for myself!

And don't even get me started on that mohair plaid cape- because I do want to keep it, and if it was in a color combo more to my natural inclinations (say red/black) I probably wouldn't even bother to pretend to sell it. It's in mint condition, and dare I say, nearly magical. Magic also, that pre-loved (owned previously by ME) generous 4-ply mint green cashmere turtleneck- pretty much the warmest, softest sweater ever. And listed on eBay, with free shipping and a best offer option (meaning say abbracadabra, give me a reasonable offer, and voila! It's yours.)

The black and white dress under all this magick, reminds me of Vix, Misfit Sarah, and Curtise, so I hope it goes to someone who has an appreciation for truly wonderful and original style, like theirs. It's a 1960s maxi dress from San Francisco, by Mr. B, made during the Haight-Ashbury heyday, so let's just say those polka dots are pretty special.

Speaking of SPECIAL, any Citizen Rosebud reader can get a special discount- just use promo code GOLDENTICKET for 15% off your order of $10 bucks or more. Offer valid until the end of the month.
